It all began in 1902 when Giacomo Bernard returned from Marseilles, invested all his assets in the production of beverages such as sparkling lemonade and seltzer, as well as the exclusive distributor of Bosio and Caratsch beer. In the early '30s, the company experienced a period of intensive work due to a significant increase of manual labor that came to the valley to work on the construction of a large infrastructure project. In the '50s an important step arrives that establishes the workshop in the production of liqueurs and that is mint, and with it “Barathier” which to this day, is still the flagship product. The production of soft drinks, meanwhile, also extends to include orange, bitter orange and ginger and continued until the early '90s, when industry competition became overwhelming. The family then decided to concentrate on the production of liqueurs, renovating equipment and work areas. Today, the strength of Giacomo and Enrico is in the production of liqueurs of excellence that are very popular and appreciated by those looking for a handcrafted inimitable taste.
